Frequently asked questions
From Schiphol, the easiest option is to take bus 397. Get off at stop Elandsgracht (final stop). From there it's only a 5 minute walk to the hotel!
From the central station take tram 2 or 12 and get off at the Leidseplein, from there it's also only a 5 minute walk.
Check in is from 14:00 (2PM) until 23:00 (11PM).
If checking in before 23:00 isn't possible, please contact us for a self check-in procedure.
Checking in early is often possible, we always try our best to get your room early as soon as possible, letting us know what time you will arrive helps us out.
Check out is until 11:00 (11 AM).
We don't offer late check-outs.

Storing you bags before check-in or after check-out is no problem. We'll keep em safe!

We do not have an elevator, just some Amsterdam style stairs. The building has 4 floors, we cannot guarantee on what floor your room will be.
However, we are always willing to help out bring up or down some of your bags! Just ask our crew and we'll get right to it.
The BackStage Hotel does not provide parking spots. The parking spots in front of the hotel are from the police, never park there.

Breakfast is served daily from 8:30 - 10:30! We serve a continental style breakfast.
You can book breakfast ahead of time or simply book it at the reception when you're at the hotel.
Vegetarian/glutenfree options are available, if you have any other dietary wishes, let us know!

Less than 48 hours before check-in (14:00 Amsterdam local time): 100% of the room price will be charged.
Failure to check in for your booking (no-show) will result in 100% of the room price being charged.

We do not have airconditioning! Every room does come with table fans so during the hotter days you can cool off with a fresh breeze. All the rooms do come with central heating.
